PC Standalone Version

In the first window of OKULIX display resolution (640×480, 800×600, 1024×768, 1280×960 or 1600×1200) and language (Deutsch or English) can be chosen by clicking to the indicated fields. It is suggested to switch to the highest possible resolution for best image quality (however, longest calculation time). In difference to other Windows based programs, window size and location cannot be modified during program run. The different program branches are self-explaining following the instructions on the buttons or input fields for data. Instead of left mouse button, also tab- or cursor keys together with the enter- or return key can be used. Help text is available by pressing F1 whenever indicated in the active window caption. If there are more than one printers installed in the computer, printouts are always directed to the "default printer". It should be a color printer. It should be carefully taken into account that optical parameters defined in one program branch remain valid for all other branches as long as they are not modified. If, e.g., the refractive index of the vitreous is set to the value of silicone oil in the "ray diagram" branch, the following IOL calculation is performed for an eye after silicone oil endotamponade!
